What is the difference between OEM and aftermarket parts?
OEM parts (Original Equipment Manufacturer) are produced by the vehicle manufacturer and offer precise fit and performance.
Aftermarket parts come from third-party manufacturers. They may be similar in function, but in some cases they differ in quality. Even with reputable manufacturers, there can be significant differences in quality or functionality.
What are HSN and TSN numbers?
HSN (manufacturer code number) and TSN (type code number) can be found in the German Registration Certificate Part I and clearly identify a vehicle.
HSN: 4-digit manufacturer number, for example 0603 = Volkswagen.
TSN: 3–8 character combination describing model, engine, and version.
Where can I find HSN/TSN?

Please include the printed quote or a handwritten note with the quote number.
